Ranga’s educational journey began with an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Brown University. He furthered his studies at The Wharton School, earning an MBA in finance, and later pursued an MS in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley. With a strong educational foundation, Ranga embarked on a distinguished professional career.
Starting as a Systems Engineer at the United Nations, Ranga led a team responsible for designing, developing, and operating the organization’s regional networks. He then transitioned to BurningTree Technologies, where he served as a Principal Engineer, contributing significantly to projects involving Internet/BGP peering points for InterNap and managed services solutions for Comcast’s email-hosting data-center.
Ranga continued to expand his expertise at SUN Microsystems (SevenSpace) as a Product Engineer and later joined Comcast Interactive Media as Director of Product Development, where he played a crucial role in enhancing product offerings. His career progression led him to become the VP of Product Development at Charter Communications, contributing to the company’s growth and development.
Joining Google as the Director of Site Reliability Engineering, Ranga demonstrated exemplary leadership and technical skills during his two-year tenure. Throughout his career, he consistently exhibited a strong commitment to innovation and excellence, leaving a significant impact on the field of technology and engineering.
