Thurston Cooper, Krystina Chambers Obituary – Philadelphia police have named the two individuals who were reportedly shot and killed in a manner described as ‘execution’ style in Fairmount Park. Law enforcement officers were called to the 3800 block of Mount Pleasant Drive following a 911 call late Thursday night at approximately 11 p.m. Upon arrival, officers encountered paramedics assisting a man and a woman who had sustained fatal gunshot wounds to the head.
The victims have been identified as Thurston Cooper, aged 49, and Krystina Chambers, aged 38, both residents of Philadelphia. Unfortunately, Cooper and Chambers were pronounced dead at the scene. Chief Inspector Scott Small informed FOX 29 that three spent shell casings were discovered near the victims. The motive behind the incident remains unknown.
A reward of $40,000 is being offered for any information that could lead to an arrest and conviction.
