James Faulkner Obituary – The motorcyclist who tragically lost his life in a four-vehicle collision on Tuesday has been identified as James Faulkner, a 25-year-old resident of Vernon. According to the police, Faulkner was riding his 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Prospect Street at around 3 p.m. when the accident occurred near the intersection with Ellington Avenue. As a result of the crash, Faulkner sustained fatal injuries.
The police investigation revealed that two of the vehicles involved were parked at the time of the collision. Additionally, the driver of the third vehicle, a white 2018 Infiniti Q50, fled the scene on foot and is currently being sought by authorities. At the crash site, it appeared that a car had struck the motorcycle from behind, causing it to become wedged against one of the parked vehicles.
Police Lieutenant Robert Marra stated that a hammer, discovered at the scene of the accident, is believed to have played a role in the incident. However, he did not provide further details regarding its involvement.
